Absolute legend
No-one does interviews like him. He could not go higher in my estiamation bt near the end he says, with his eyes welling up: "'till the last minutes of my life I will love this club"
Shit, I got a lump in my throat watching it last night.................................

FFL Week 25
Told you last week that the gap closing on Stathi didn't matter!
Nani not only probably ended the first team career of Hoyte at Arsenal but also handed Rico second place with an individual 7 point haul.
Sid, with his two Liverpool defenders and Toure in his backline left him with the dubious honour of having the season's lowest weekly score: -5, to slip further behind.
No transfers. Here is the table:
I have stayed quiet on the weekend's events but like a rumbling volcano, today is the day to explode:
Q1. Why has the FA not charged Gallas for kicking out?
A1. He plays for Arsenal
Q2. Why did Flamini get away with a scandalous lunge at Nani with a clear 15 yeard run up?
A2. He plays for Arsenal
Q3. Why were the Sunday newspapers more concerned with Nani juggling the ball rather than Wenger's utter contempt for the FA Cup?
A3: It's Arsenal
Q4. Nani showboating? Give me a break. Watch it again. What should he have done? Boot the ball into row Z? He controlled the ball, kept it away from an opponent while running towards his goal, laid it off and then has to hurdle Flamini's atrocious challenge. Why?
A4: It's Arsenal. Remember when Pires and Henry tried THAT penalty? That my friends is showboating. What did the media say? Wonderfully inventive blah, blah, blah. That was more disrespectful in my opinion.
Q5: Talking about respect, Wenger claimed Nani tried to 'humiliate' his team. Really?
A5: The biggest disrespect that happened around Saturday's match was Wenger and his team not showing up. Tell that to my mate who paid in excess of £40 for a ticket, £3 for a programme, £25 travel and £15 for beer and food and then see Adebayor, Flamini and Clichy on the bench and more worryingly Traore and Hoyte on the pitch. Injuries? Oh yes. That's why the claimed hamstring injuries that kept the Elepahnt washer's son and Flamini wearing four layers of tracksuit finally saw them come on with 15 minutes to go when the game was finished and the temperature was -5 degress C pitchside. Very professorial Mr Wenger.
Also, just accept defeat. Please. For once. Just once. Moreover Wenger and his side should not lecture on respect and humiliation. Why? Pizzagate.
And finally, are Arsenal as a club under Wenger not the ones who religiously preach the virtues of the beautiful game and condemn anything contray to this? (Ask Allardyce when at Bolton for example). Does the display on saturday on the pitch and afterwards in interviews not contradict this? (the term is 'sour grapes')

They are the team the media creams its pants over whenever they put together a move of 5 or more passes. Hello, Arsenal did not INVENT 'pretty football'.
Rant over - I feel better now. I await your abuse!

FFL Transfers
Transfers confirmed for this weekend..............
A three-way battle for Jermaine Defoe. Nick tried to do a Harry and get rid of Benjani but as he was only worth 5.7m he was beaten by McNick who chose to get rid of Agbonlahor (value 6.1m). However, he also was beaten to the capture of Defoe by Sid who finally gets rid of Shevchenko (value 7.1).
Nick does get manage to get rid of Bale for Hutton.

FFL update (weeks 21, 22 and 22.5!
As promised, after putting nehind me the my appeal to the FA, here are teh updates including the midweek games (hence teh 22.5)
On the appeal, I ahve just realised, if that fat scouse *&^**&**/ reads it then I have no chance. In fact 84 days will very easily become 84 years!!!
Anyway, no commentary today. Just the table:
Transfers:
Me: Ben Haim OUT Skrtel IN (don't ask!)
Sid: Lehmann OUT Hart IN
McNick: Kapo OUT McFadden IN
I promised myself I would not publish a post and mention how Liverpool fans embraced their American owners when they came, but now want them out after they realised they would mortgage their club to the tune of £30m of interest payments A YEAR! And they still have to find the money to build a new stadium. Karma is a wonderful thing...................................oops!
