Anyway, the current scores DO NOT include the midweek FA Cup points (a bonanza for Nick and James that make a significat change to the top of the table - see below)
One transfer from Sid who swaps Ledley "will I ever kick a ball again?" King for Alan "I can't believe I'm still kciking a ball" Stubbs
Top score this week goes to Don with a creditable 14 thanks to a dozen from Drogba and Evra. At the top it is too close to call with (before midweek games remember!) ONE point covering the top three and Sid just 11 points off top spot:
Total Points | Diff | |
Nick Ach | 279 | |
Mike | 279 | 0 |
James | 278 | 1 |
Sid | 268 | 11 |
Nick Ath | 244 | 35 |
Donald | 229 | 50 |
Rico | 227 | 52 |
Theo | 203 | 76 |
Steve | 188 | 91 |
Stathi | 153 | 126 |
The weekend sees the FA Cup return with 8 fifth round ties but with only nine premiership sides playing (this included Fulham and Watford!).
Nick PC may feel the abscence of his Liverpool duo but Yakubu could gets some goals against West Brom with Downing assists!
Elsewhere, Gallas returns to the Arsenal squad much to James' delight and with the run-in, any clean sheets will be gratefully received.
Rooney is suspended for yours truly and only a hat-trick from the wobbly lipped one (Rio Ferdinand) will keep me in the running! (any chance of a Robbie Keane goal???????)
McNick will be hoping Mr 'Deflection and in' (Lampard) will score a few against the might of Norwich but with the Champions League being played in midweek, Maureen may decided to rest some of his players! (so long as its not Cech!)
Enjoy the weekend
