World Class?

More like:

Now will people PLEASE accept that these two muppets are good footballers but nowhere near world class.
Is it really that difficult to pass the ball to someone who is wearing the same shirt as you?

Here’s a question. Where would last night's England team finish in the Premiership?

Carson (felt sorry for him to be fair),
Bridge (worst full back display EVER?)
Lescott (very, very limited)
Campbell (did all he could. Have never seen a footballer play in every position at the back in one game – even though there were players in those positions!!!)
Richards (showed his naivety. Not up to this level yet)
Barry (chasing shadows)
Lampard (Next)
Gerrard (see rant below)
Wright-Phillips (ok)
J Cole (the only one with natural talent but lost on those around him. Still feel he is a playground footballer)
Crouch (never had a prayer last night. Quality goal)

Another reason why England are falling further behind internationally. There's only about 100 English players in the Premiership making first team appearances. Might even be less. When it comes to international call ups you can probably write 20-30 off for being too old, 20-30 for being too young and some who have retired from internationals. That leaves 40 odd.

England name squads of about 25 so if you're English, available and sometimes playing for your club you are going to get a call up. Whether you are playing well or not seems irrelevant. Whether you are international quality or not you will get the call-up.

Summing-up Stevie Gggggg over the course of the qualifying campaign. This is in a group that was topped by the team that was knocked out of the last World Cup by Australia!!!!!

1) Brainless – has he got any tactical nous? He seems to just run around hard, hitting the ball hard.

2) He can't control a game. I don’t care what example anyone gives me, he is over-rated and has not got the ability to consistently

3) Has one pass in him – the long hard pass that once in 35 attempts reaches its target. Ask Beckham last night.

4) Team player? For both club and country there is an increasing feeling that Stevie G is Stevie ‘ME’.

More and more I am beginning to understand why Benitez stuck him on the right wing as he can’t give the ball away as much there and Alonso is such a better and more precise passer!

A selection of headlines from the papers:

"I'll Get My Croat" - Daily Mirror.

"Out You Cro" - Daily Star.

"A Wally With A Brolly" - Daily Mail.

Personally I like mine the best;

"Bunch of C*nts"...
