Media bias? Surely not!

Am I missing something?

As you know I am no lover of all things vermnin but..............................

Arsenal beat AC Milan in the San Siro and the media wank themselves silly and make out they have won the European Cup, the World Cup and the Grand National whereas Liverpool beat Inter at the San Siro, who are top of the Italian league, haven't lost at home since August, only been beaten twice in something like 18 months , and the media make out it was a gritty performance!!!!!

Go figure!

Here's the difference:
1. Arsenal were expected to go out after a 0-0 draw at home. They had to win at the San Siro. Liverpool were favourites to go through and could have lost 1-0.

2. Arsenal totally outplayed Milan. It was embarrassingly easy at times. They could have had 4 or 5. Liverpool were Liverpool. Solid in defence, jammy at times and, yet again, played against 10 men for a large chunk of the game.

3. Arsenal did it first.

4. Arsenal have a younger, more talented team.

Anyway, what are you doing defending Liverpool? And did my transfer go through?

In terms of performance I agree, but in my opinion Liverpool's result over the two legs was FAR superior to Arsenal's
Inter have ROASTED everything in Italy for the past two years. Meelan have mererly used the league to prepare for the Champions League. I backed Arsenal to win both legs such was my confidence in them winning against a team who were old, out of form and with their best players injured. They were never going to lose. Whereas Liverpool, even with a 2-0 lead still had to do it away from home. As for Torres.............eeeeeeeeek.
