FFL Week 20

That'll be the Christmas fixture-concertina over and done with. Although there were no seismic changes, James and Rico registered tremours of a kind to move to within 38 and 30 points respectively of the lead. Rico in particular has had a tremendous few weeks, scoring 82 points since his disastrous -6 in week 15. Suarez alone has scored 19 points in 4 weeks, and if he keeps that up Rico will certainly be a challenger. Even goal-shy Podolski has somehow managed 30 points. James has managed 59 points in the same period, albeit in an yoyo-manner (6-22-4-23-4 in the past 5 weeks), with Walcott the big contributor. The dry turkey this Christmas was Harry, whose strong pre-festive challenge fell away with scores of 3, 5 and 10 over the last 3 weeks. Without van Persie's devastating ruthlessness - that's 62 points already this season - he'd be mid-table at best.

Theo made 2 transfers this week:
O'Brien and Duff in for Buttner and Adam.

So long..
