What is the educated and biased opinion on Mike Newell's comments after Saturday's match?
Quotes:
"She shouldn't be here. I know that sounds sexist but I am sexist. This is not park football, so what are women doing here?"
"It is tokenism - for the politically-correct idiots," said Newell.
"We have a problem in this country with political correctness and bringing women into the game is not the way to improve refereeing and officialdom.
"It is absolutely beyond belief. When do we reach a stage when all officials are women because then we are in trouble?
"It is bad enough with the incapable referees and linesmen we have but if you start bringing in women, you have big problems."

Lets be honest - the bloke said exactly what we're all thinking!
I've got nothing personal against women supporting football and attending matches (for the right reasons) but until such time that I can find a member of the opposite sex with whom I can have a deep and meaningful discussion as whether Clive Thomas should have blown that whistle as the corner was in mid-air or not, then I vote for them to stick to telling us how sexy David Ginola is.
I was listening to Gab Marcotti on the subject and he called the whole thing INSANE. His argument was that if a woman was intellectually an physically capable of performing the functions of a referee why shouldn't she? Which I guess is right BUT then someone else said he also agreed with Marcotti but that "there was something not right about a woman officiating a match. I cant put my finger on it, but IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT."
