Cool site mate. I also noticed that in the team photo, you're wearing United shorts. Hmm...
I went for Makaronia tou fournou, but was tempted by the koupes. Not really like with like though.
Incidentally, Andreas Karaolis used to be my (and James's) Greek school teacher. Quite a radical political figure, an old-style leftie who encouraged us to set up our own tuckshop. I don't think he realised he was also sowing capitalist seeds in our fertile young minds at the time.
Not sure about the 'Brotherhood' title though. It's kind of been hijacked by the Muslim Brotherhood - it's a bit like having a swastika on the kit. Maybe that's just me though...
Thanks for the comments but the name comes from the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood which is the oldest Greek Cypriot organisation in the UK - circa 1930s. I know what you mean though, it does sound rather like an occult or Mason type organisation!
I have met Karaolis. He is the currently the club secretary and The Brotherhood representative on the football club's commitee. I got involved through a couple of mates of mine. One fellow United fan and another who I coached when we were both at Anorthosis last season. I met with the manager, was happy with he had to say and I am now coach (among other things!) What I particuarly respect is the idea that the football club can be used as a vehicle to promote the Brotherhood as an organisation where the youth of the community will carry on upholding the good things / causes of the Greek Cypriot community.
Havent forgiven "snail" for clipping me round the ear in class. I went for the souvlakia. Good site, good ethos, good B&W shots of strong yet moody trainer...

How did you get involved? And have you met Karaolis?
