Arsenal
Inter Milan
Ajax
Manchester United
Tottenham
Celtic
Rangers
etc, etc

why city?

Will it end in tears? Maybe. Every interview, every annoucement the new owners have talked about their new toy as an investment. If this is the case then they will a budget and a business plan.

Surely it would be easier to buy of the above and make an established clu the biggest and best, no questions asked? But where's the fun in that?

The fact that they are saying that they will bid £135m for Ronaldo and bid for everyone else shows they know fuck all about football and how it works.

Then again, egotism and narcissim can be a strong human trait and these guys just want to turn up in the West, take one of the West's playthings, be the boss and rule the football world by doing it THEIR WAY.

All in all, very interesting and extremly funny thinking how Peter Kenyon has fucked up another trasnfer. Abramovich gazumped? Ha fucking ha.

Arsenal and Liverpool will be twitching their arses a little now knowing that top four is not a certainty (given that United and Chelsea have the team to be at the top this season at least).

DIC (how appropriate!) will no doubt come in for Liverpool.
