Fernando Torres of the week (Keane may have got 4 but how good is this guy!!): STATHI with yet another 20 point haul c0urtesy of his front players netting 5 between them
Phil Brown's perm-a-tan of the week: MIKE with 0..nuff said
Transfer activity: First potential controversy of the year I'm afraid although you let me be chariman so in my humble opinion we have rules.....they are there for a reason.......so clear-cut to me. A transfer was recieved that was SENT at 20.00. and 20seconds and Nick Ath who has the transfer password can verify.............so does not count. Sorry Mike.

20 fucking seconds? Are you serious? This is being anal to the next level. For your information the transfer was sent BEFORE kick-off of last nights game.
To say I'm pissed off is an understatement. Yes, I am throwing all my toys out of the pram.
Not the first time a transfer has eeked out slightly after the time. Never been an issue as there was never a counter-bid.
Keep your fucking game. My team is shit anyway this year.
Disappointed, pissed off, not happy.
Signing off (forever)
Hmmm, very Lionel Messi and a tricky one to comment on but for the record, if this was any of us (with the exception of the cool-headed DP), we would all be frothing at the mouth with rage;
On one hand, rules are rules and if it was sent or received at 8.05 then i would understand, but 20 seconds after 8pm surely means that it was written and sent before 8pm? After 12 years, we can't cut eachother any slack for 20 seconds? I suspect this is not the the first time either but prob the first time it has been an issue. Also, no-one else missed out as there was no counter offer.
Bit pedantic in my book but rules are there for a reason. Maybe we should allocate 1 minute for cyber-space therefore making the absolute cut off at 8.01pm?
On the other hand how would we we all react if this happened 5 months down the line and two of us were vying for top spot and we both wanted the same player??!
Yeah, 20 seconds is pretty harsh. If a goal had been scored in the 1st 20 seconds of last night's match by a player that Mike had bid for, there would be a strong case for rejecting it.
Let's let the transfer through, eh?
I agree, I vote for the transfer to stand.......unless it's someone i want that is :)
