We've got used to the ravings and rantings everytime the "bin dippers" get some negative publicity (mostly justified, sometimes eversoslightly OTT) but after events at the weekend the boot is firmly on the other foot. (Rico - where are you?!)
Aside from a blatant dive and abominable challenge from Welbeck (disappointing because I genuinely rate the kid), there was the incident of the (albeit minority) abuse from the crowd in respect - or rather lack of respect - Hillsborough. I remember not that long ago some of the chants that used to go on at football matchs - the gassing noise made as Spurs' fans, the aeroplane chants at Utd fans, the incessant racist abuse but thankfully that has been consigned to the darker corners of football's memoirs. The level of disrespect shown at the weekend is unforgivable.
We can go on and argue about who was guilty, who was to blame, etc forever but the facts remain that INNOCENT men, women and children died that day. In any part of the world you show respect for that.
The big question now is should there be a punishment (yes), who should give it (definitely from within the club, arguably from the FA) and what should it be (answers on this blog).

Oh dear. Please don't suck me into this. What was the chant? Name it and I'll explain. I know what was sung and I know the context. Should I be coersed into a proper reply I will oblige but be fore warned it will not be pretty.............
By the way, didn't think shit stirring was your style.........
I know that I am last but where are the results !!
Sorry. Where are the results???
Bad punctuation however exaggerated is not acceptable.
Sorry Collars - couldn't resist! Besides, the Blog has been untouched for so long it needed some warming up and who better?
What was sung then Mike? And what was the context?
Smells to me like football club chauvanism.
