FFL WEEK 5

Good evening gents

It's going to be difficult to play down my relatively good weekend - so I'm not going to. Aguero found himself at an 'eat as much as you like' goal buffet at the etihad and clearly piled up his plate. Good value too compared to the burger, chips and drink you get at the lane (which I am reliably informed is £8.40). Moving on from tenuous food metaphors, Fabregas and Oscar shared goals and an assist (Diego who?), and even Welbeck scored. Add to that Bertrand's clean sheet and your chairman top scores this week with 21. James was launced into second place with 16 and a phenomenal 11 points from Tadic alone (4 assists and a goal). Is that a record for a midfielder? Answers on a postcard please. Good week also for Nick PC with 11 points which puts him in contention with only 5 points separating 2nd and 5th. Nic McNic was bottom this week with -1.

Your chairman increases the lead slightly on last week but means absolutely nothing at this stage.

Mike and I top scored with 12. Bottom of the pile was Nick PC with 4. It was looking like Rico until Berahino saved his bacon in the only game of Sunday afternoon.

Any points from Monday night (29 Sept) will of course be rolled into Week 4.

No transfers this week.

Until next week,

Your Chairman
